Prerequisites


    Doctor of Public Health Core (18 hours)


      Advanced Evaluation (3 Hours)


       Select one course from the following:

        Research Methods (3 Hours)


          Public Health Advanced Practicum (6 Hours)


            Courses in Biostatistics and Statistics (21 Hours)


            • Select three 800 level Biostatistics courses (9 Hours)
            • Select four other courses in Biostatistics or Statistics (12 Hours)

            Application Area Courses (9 Hours)


            • Select three courses in the area of biostatistical application. The application area may be from a specific department (e.g. Epidemiology, Environmental Health) or a topic that spans across departments (e.g., a specific disease, nutrition, exercise). At least one member of the dissertation committee would be from outside Biostatistics and would represent this application area.
